Ludwig Moser & Söhne
Ludwig Moser founded the Moser Company in 1857; it was originally an engraving facility and retail outlet, headquartered in Karlsbad. Thirty years later, around 1870, the company had grown substantially – there were now outlets in America, England, France and Russia. With the opening of their own glass factory in 1893, the company became so successful, that is was called to be royal purveyor to King Eduard VII and purveyor to the Persian Royal Court. The company was sold to the ?eská Unionbanka in 1934 and continued work under German leadership. It was incorporated in 1991. (nlu)
