William Neale – Silversmiths, established in 1850 in Birmingham by William Neale, later a smithy was opened in Chester
Each hallmarked with maker’s mark, silver standard, town mark and date letter
A pair of square curved put-up hinge frames
With yellow-orange enameled daffodils and further floral embellishments in the manner of Art Nouveau
Dimensions: each c. 21.8 x 20.7 cm

Both frames are in a very good condition. The wooden backs have been replaced, the glass is presumably original. The enamel has been added later. The dimensions measure each c. 21.8 x 20.7 cm. (nlu)
