Brown ink drawing on wove paper,Tahitian women (sheet of studies), attributed to/in the manner of* Paul Gauguin (1848-1903). Signed. 12 1/4 x 10 1/8 inches. Good condition overall, with no apparent damage or repairs. Unframed for auction inspection and shipping.
Provenance: Property of a private Southwest collector.
Preston Hall Gallery sold a work attributed to Paul Gauguin on March 10, 2015, from the same collection as the present lot. Subsequently, that drawing sold at Sotheby's, Paris, on June 1, 2016, Lot 79, in the amount of $33,428.
