Provenance: Consigned by General Harper's grandson. Joseph H. "Bud" Harper (May 1, 1901 – August 8, 1990) is best known for delivering General Anthony McAuliffe's response "Nuts" to German demands for surrender during the Siege of Bastogne.
Includes LOA from Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) William H. Harper, USAF – Grandson of Major General Joseph H. “Bud” Harper
