Item: Vintage Le Mieux China Hand Decorated Vanity Set

Date: 1930’s - 1940’s

Materials: 24K gold

Perfume Bottles: 5.25 inches tall

Covered Box: 4 inches tall x 3.75 inches diameter

Tray: 13 x 7 inches

Markings: "Le Mieux China - 24 Karat Gold" is marked on the bottom of each piece.

There is great discussion as to where this factory was located. Most likely it was produced in the USA because it is very similar to Pickard. Replacement Ltd. Did not give a country of origin. The phrase "24 Karat Gold" was not included in marks before 1930. Based on that mark, this dresser set is around 85 years old. The scent bottles applicators are intact never broken. Both the bottles and the tray are decorated with a scene of people in 18th-century costumes.
