Toy: Vintage Marx Silver Knight Modeling Figure

Sir Roland

Comes with a set of armor and accessories which includes a club, mace, knife, scabbard, belt, shield, lance, flintlock, sword crossbow and two bolts and additional helmet.

This Marx action figure was part of a series by Marx Toys which featured four figures from the Nobel Series. The series featured the Silver Knight, the Good Knight, the Black Knight and the Gold Knight. Sold separately from the knights were a series of horses complete with their own individual armor that would match each individual knight. In 1964 Louis Marx and Company, sought the means to compete against Hasbro’s newly introduced G.I. Joe action figure line. The Marx Noble Knights were a hit in 1968 but production ceased by 1973. These knight action figures are magnificent and come with multiple weapons and helmets so you can outfit the knight several different ways. The action figures are historically accurate that included a information sheet.
