Rare Roman edition containing the Liburnio's treatise about the richness and variety of the Latin language.
Niccolò Liburnio (1474-1557) was an Italian writer and humanist. He was born in Friuli and studied in Venice where was proof-reader of Aldus Manutius for his Greek and Latin editions. He wrote collections of poetry, grammatical treatises, epithalamia, translations, anthologies of mottos and sayings.
