A rare cased four barrelled percussion gun by Reilly, dating: mid-19th Century, provenance: London, dating: mid-19th Century, provenance: London, Round, smooth barrels; the upper ones are 11 mm cal. barrels with rib marked 'E. M. REILLY 302 NEW OXFORD STREET LONDON, foresight; the two bottom barrels are 15 mm cal.; long tang featuring sight engraved with floral motifs; backward spring locks signed 'REILLY LONDON' and engraved with floral motifs; hammers with two heads that can load both barrels all together or one by one; wooden half stock with micro-checkered neck, the patchbox of the butt is closed ; iron mounts with engravings. Wooden ramrod with brass mounts. Kept in its original, wooden case with green-velvet lining provided with label and tools. , length 110 cm.
