A Boutet flintlock blunderbuss, dating: circa 1800, provenance: France, dating: circa 1800, provenance: France, Smooth, three-stage barrel, octagonal at the first part with writing 'Boutet Director Artiste' and three stamps 'NB', CB' and 'LC' with remains of gilding, then round, featuring a sixteen-face segment and with strongly bell-mouthed muzzle; flintlock with signature (Manufre ÌÊ Versailles, not clearly legible); wooden full stock (small restorations) with checkered neck and iron mounts. Horn-and iron-tipped, wooden ramrod and brass cartridge extractor. , length 82.5 cm.
