A fine sujibachi commander's kabuto, dating: 17th Century, provenance: Japan, dating: 17th Century, provenance: Japan, Hachi of sixty-two plates lacquered in brown, with hammered and gilt border bent toward the outside, surmounted by the tehen with gilt base engraved with spirals, with three petal-shaped sectors, two of them pierced. Mabizashi with gilt border, three rivets with roundish stud and two with grooved, cusped stud. Small fukigaeshi covered with leather, with gilt mon shaped as an ivy leaf in a lozenge shaped frame. Hineno shikoro of five iron plates, lacquered in gold, with blue lace. On the inside surface the antique lining and laces. Edo period., height circa 30 cm.
