Description
Meissen (German, founded 1708). Pair of late 18th century (circa 1790) porcelain low soup bowls or soup plates with hand painted florals throughout tondo and subtle textured borders with diaper patterned motifs. Each marked on bottom with blue crossed pommel swords under glaze with blue asterisks or stars which dates each porcelain to 1773-1814.
