Description
First half 19th century, 40 x 117 cm, Central Asia, West Turkestan

An early Tekke torba showing six primary güls and chemche secondary güls. The large scale of the designs is an indication of age. A very fine weave, light and transparent colours. – Original finishes all around, slight signs of age, damaged sides, somewhat low spots in the pile of the field.
