Condition
Beautiful edition of the works of Descartes published by Elzevier of Amsterdam, on the basis of privilege, they had been granted by Louis XIV, to freely publish his works abroad, wherever they wanted to. The layout and the division into six parts are the same as last Elzeviriana 1677-78 edition of the Blaeu had meanwhile acquired the privilege from Elzevier. As is known, the division into six parts corresponded to the need to also sell the individual works separately, on the basis of the requests.Nice copy.
