Original illustrated edition where is narrated the adventurous life of the Earl, 1706-1765, member of one of the most ancient and noble Swedish families, who renounced to the Lutheranism and ended up living in Rome, where he was elected Senator in 1737. The Earl's portrait is placed at the frontispiece and it is engraved by Antonio Zaballi. The chronological table of the Roman Senators, from page 151, begins with Romulus and ends with Abbondio Rezzonico, nephew of Pope Clement XIII, elected senator in 1765. The author's name will appear in the next edition, printed in Venice in 1670.Slight browning and signs of wear, specimen with large margins.
