Condition
Very rare original edition. Work of considerable interest to the economy and finance of the seventeenth century. The papal indiction, in fact, regulates the tithes that had to be paid to the Holy See from the various ecclesiastical institutions throughout Italy, at a time when the tithes were the greater financial resources of the Vatican State. Pope Alexander VII, born Fabio Chigi, Siena 1599 - Rome 1667, was pope from April 7, 1655 to his death. Only four specimens counted in the Italian libraries. Good copy.
