Qianlong six-character seal mark and of the period (1735-1795).
The dish is potted into overall celadon-glaze and painted in famille-rose with quails amongst blossoming peonies beside rockwork, and bats flying above. This is a very typical Chinese expression of happiness in life with quail and chrysanthemum bring safety and prosperity, bats means happiness.
