Steam yacht "Emu" builder's model. This exceptional model is by the H.E. Boucher Model Studio, the preeminent model builder's H. Boucher, who built many of the fine models in the New York Yacht Club's collection including JP Morgan's "Corsair" and Vanderbilts "Atlantic".
The model has mahogany cabins with rigged panels, india inked decks, skylights, with brass bars, lifeboats with ribs and floorboards, brass deckplates, anchors with stocks, funnel with steam whistle, etc. Rigged with two masts with deadeyes. Model is set on its original smaltz baseboard and mounted into a later display case.
