PEOPLE'S MILITIA AIR RAID PREPAREDNESS POSTERS (15)
Large group of 15 printed color "People's Militia Air Raid Preparedness" posters, each 30 1/2" x 21, issued by the People's Liberation Army Logistics Dept., 1965. The first poster in the series shows American warplanes falling from the sky in flames with a dejected President Lyndon Johnson appearing at lower-right. At left, militia practice shooting firearms at models of helicopters. Other posters include identification charts of various American aircraft, preparedness teaching techniques, bomb shelter construction, aircraft spotting and small arms anti-aircraft firing, heavy AA emplacement, civil defense, and care of wounded in the field. First poster soiled a bit at margins, else very good. From a single collection obtained entirely in China pre-2000.
