A Wedgwood Queen's Ware (creamware) bullet-shape Chintz Pattern teapot and cover, circa 1770, decorated in shades of iron-red, puce, black and green , incised 2 to base, paper collection label E.N. STRETTON COLLECTION , 13.5cm high Provenance: The Norman Stretton Collection (ex-lot 184, The Norman Stretton Collection, Phillips London 21st Feb. 2001) and thence The Oxborrow Collection. See Reilly & Savage, Dictionary of Wedgwood (1989), p. 55, colour plate III, centre left for a similar teapot and cover from the Zeitlin Collection.
