Elvis Presley Vintage Plastic Guitar (Emenee, 1956). In 1956, Emenee, a company specializing in musical toys, manufactured these white-plastic Elvis-themed guitars, emblazoned with Elvis and "Hound Dog" decals across the body. Includes the original corded strap, and even more scarce, this lot includes not only the original box, but the original cardboard insert, which was used to protect the strings as well as holding the strap. Finding one of these guitars with the insert is near-impossible, as most were thrown out straight out of the box! This is the six-string version, with some wear to the box, and some chipping/corrosion evident on the decals. Very Good condition. Measures 33" x 13" x 4".
