Description
An Edwina Booth Large Collection of Black and White Publicity Photographs by Clarence Sinclair Bull, 1930s. Thirty-three total, all original prints with a glossy finish, all depicting the delicate beauty in height-of-fashion frocks, some with Bull's blindstamp in the lower right corner, 32 with the versos stamped "Kindly Credit-Photo By / Clarence Sinclair Bull / Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer," almost all with typed snipes glued to the verso outlining information about Booth's clothing; a rising young star during the advent of sound, Booth's career was sadly cut short when she contracted a debilitating case of malaria during the filming of the 1931 MGM film, "Trader Horn" in Africa. (Please note there are some duplicate images within the group, and that normal handling wear and toning consistent with age has occurred.)
