Contents quite clean though front endpaper with former owner's signature dated 1966, text-block tight and square, a Near Fine book in Very Good jacket. ***************************************** First edition in original yellow jacket designed by Ellen Raskin. Initially, the work sold fewer than 2,000 copies when first printed in 1965, and despite some positive reviews the book was out of print a year later. In 2003, the work was re-issued and has since gained great popularity with a wide, international audience.
