Description
An elegant Roman light green glass unguentarium, 2nd - 3rd Century AD, the small two-part body with slightly indented base, tall tubular neck with lightly constricted base and wide flattened rim folded inward, H: 5 1/2 in (14cm). A lovely example pleasing iridescence and light surface deposits. Cf. Yale, p. 66, no. 169 & Newark no. 416 for identical examples. Ex collection of Dr. Michael A Telson.
