Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A splendid pair of glass juglets, each boasting a translucent hue of light green with scattered areas of iridescence and an elegant, piriform silhouette. Each vessel presents a spherical body that tapers to a slender neck culminating in a flared spout with a rolled rim and a delicate arched handle. Imagine the sweet and floral fragrances or rich oils these graceful juglets once contained! Size of larger: 2.8" Diameter x 4.1" H (7.1 cm x 10.4 cm)

Condition
Neck of more petite vessel and handle of larger vessel have been professionally repaired. Both have chipping to handles and stable hairline fissures to bodies. Otherwise, both present excellently with beautiful iridescence and weathering film throughout. Nice earthen deposits to surfaces of both.
