LOOPED ZIPPER MINIATURE STAND LAMP, colorless blown-molded globular form font, pressed opaque white base with hexagonal-panelled stem and circular foot, opaque white chimney-shade, period collar. Fitted with an Olmsted single-tube burner. Attributed to Storm Brothers, Philadelphia, PA. 1876-1890. 6 1/2" H to top of chimney-shade, 4 1/4" H to top of collar, 2 1/4" D base.
Excellent condition, lamp and burner undamaged, chimney-shade top with a very shallow slither chip along with normal roughness to each rim.
Literature: Parallels Smith - Miniature Lamps I, p. 40, fig. 11, right.
Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.
