LOOPED ZIPPER MINIATURE STAND LAMP, colorless blown-molded globular form font, pressed deep emerald green base with hexagonal-paneled stem and circular foot, several opal spots to top of foot, opaque white chimney-shade, period collar with patent information. Fitted with an Olmsted single-tube burner. Circa 1876-1890. 6 5/8" H to top of chimney-shade, 4 1/4" H to top of collar, 2 1/4" D base.
Literature: Parallels Smith - Miniature Lamps I, p. 40, fig. 11, right.
Provenance: The collection of Frank and Karen McWright of Bethel, CT.

Condition

Excellent condition, underside and exterior edge of foot each with a minor flake, font shoulder with two interior bubbles, as made, chimney-shade and burner undamaged.
