Chinese Large Qian Long Imperial Tangka:
A very large tapestry of Buddha and gods. The central Buddha is surrounded by a blue sky with gold detailed clouds showing a multitude of gods. Praying figures and elephant-based platforms are under the Buddha's lotus pedestal. The colors are primarily blue, gold, and dark red. It has an embroidered calligraphy panel on the right side. Embroidered strips of fabric mat the tapestry, which is framed in carved gold leaf and glass. Two brass brackets at the top for hanging.
