Chinese silk Kesi panel slit tapestry, of 19th c. Finely decorated with metallic threads showing front facing imperial dragon with four cornering four smaller dragons, borne amidst fumes and flames over cresting waves. All reserved against metallic yellow silk ground. The tapestry has a smooth surface and appears exactly the mirrored images as on the front and back.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium or silk, regardless from any major damages; includes light blooms, discoloration and minor fading. Consider normal due to the ages.
