Fine Chinese Jizhou Ware style Tea Bowl. The simple shallow bowl shape, raised on narrow foot ring , the interior decorated with a naturalistic leaf decoration. Three pre-rotted leaves, each leaf in a different phase of deterioration. They are coated with a lighter color glaze before they are positioned on the interior of a black glazed bowl. The glaze is of a dark brownish olive tone streaking to a creamy coffee brown simulating tixi lacquer and stopping above the concave base exposing the pale buff foot rim
