Lot of four posthumous woodcut prints after Albrecht Durer. All on laid paper, 19th century. Includes three prints from the "The Life of the Virgin" series 1511: "Sojourn of the Holy Family in Egypt", "Adoration of the Magi", and "Christ Taking Leave of His Mother". The fourth print is "The Martyrdom of Saint John the Evangelist". All initalled in the plate. The three "The Life of the Virgin" prints each measure approx. 12" tall x 8.5" wide. "The Martydom of St. John the Evangelist" measures approx. 15.5" tall x 11.15" wide. Condition: small spot to upper left corner of "Christ Taking Leave of his Mother", tiny crease to lower left corner of this same print, others in good condition, see images.
