Egypt, late Pre-Dynastic, ca. 4000 to 3100 BCE. A clearly knapped lithic spear point, done in a smooth beige stone with an almost milky surface. Made to be lashed to a longer stick, possibly used for fishing on the Nile. Comes with custom stand. Size: 3.5" L x 1" W (8.9 cm x 2.5 cm)
Provenance: Ex-Sarkisian collection, Denver, CO acquired before 1960
