Muller Croismare cameo footed vase arranged with nasturtiums among the tangle of leaves and vines finished in low relief. Each flower and leaf is artistically wheel carved by hand to exact detail of the natural plant, the wheel also used to engrave a small patch of rippling into the backdrop as tho the plant is trailing over a pool of water. Height 14 1/2 inches. The flowers are mahogany red over an interesting golden yellow orange the mahogany red mingled within. The surface reflects a mother of pearl-like characteristic. Signed "Muller Croismare on the side, as if written by hand in relief. Few Muller vases bear the Croismare signature. Impressive vessel. Excellent original condition.
