French Enamel Gilt Bronze Mantle Clock. The drum form clock movement cantilevered from the top of the glazed colonnade cabinet, the ivory enamel dial painted centering a rose garland with musical trophy of horns and drums enclosing the Arabic numeral chapter ring, enclosed by a turquoise border, fitted with gilt champleve enamel pendulum with a quiver of bows and a horn, the chamfered sides painted with figures of Muses, the domed top inset with a champleve enamel ground surmounted by a porcelain mounted urn form painted with a figure of Cupid, raised on integrated toupie feet, the movement marked " France "9441-508" and "The Frielandlander Company. Retailed by The Frielander Company. Early 20th Century. Dimensions 16 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 6 inches (41.9 x 24 x 15.2 cm). Lacking pendulum hanger. [Key and pendulum]
