Description
Attributed to Milo Baughman (American, 1923-2003) for Thayer Coggin (American, founded 1953- ), circa 1970s. A rectangular burl wood veneer sideboard or credenza, having a two pairs of cabinet doors, one pair opening to reveal a white laminate interior, the other fitted with two drawers lined in orange velvet for silverware storage, the whole resting on a conforming chromed metal rectangular base. Bekins Moving Services label to reverse. Approximate height 34.25", width 72", depth 18.25".
Condition
Wear commensurate to age and use. One door on the right side sticks. Veneer is dry and could benefit from some oiling. Some surface scratching and light staining to top. Chrome with some oxidation and pitting. Interior a bit dusty. One interior flatware drawer sticks a little. Lining to both with wear and impressions from flatware. Some minor chips and dents to edges of drawers. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
