Vintage burl wood and brass dresser manufactured by Founders in the United States, in the late 70s. Milo BAUGHMAN design. Six dovetail drawers to obverse and one door which opens to reveal three more drawers. Measures approx. 29H x 72W x 18D in. Some surface wear consistent with age and use. Some chipping to wood. Drawers need adjustment. Some surface wear and losses to metal. One of two available in this auction. Milo Baughman was born in Goodland, Kansas, was a modern furniture designer. Baughman designed for a number of furniture companies starting in the mid-1940s until his death, including Mode Furniture, Glenn of California, The Inco Company, Pacific Iron, Murray Furniture of Winchendon, Arch Gordon, George Kovacs, Directional, and Drexel, among others.
