Yaacov Agam (Isreali, b. 1928- ), "Olympic Celebration", lenticular print (or agamograph) from an edition of 25, signed and edition noted at lower margin "Agam", "21/25 A.P.". Optic art print depicting an assortment of circles in various sizes and colors. With graphite inscription to verso "Olympic Celebration". Framed approximately 23.75" x 24.75". Sight approximately 13.25" x 14". Note: Yaacov Agam is best known for pioneering optical (sometimes called optic) and kinetic art. Agam has been the subject of retrospectives at the Musée National d’Art Moderne (Paris, FR), and with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York, USA). Alternative artist spellings include "Yaacov (Gipstein) Agam".
