Middle Archaic culture. Measures 6 x 1 inch.
George Nichols collection. Nichols' notes regarding site M-2 read as follows, “Sulphur Spring Church site. Located in field on ridge ½ mile west of church.”
An image of this example is included in "The Archaeology of Missouri, I," by Carl H. Chapman, Columbia, University of Missouri Press, 1975, p. 209, and identified as a "Knives, daggers, or spear points from the Sedalia complex at the Pauling site (George Nichols Collection)."
