Description

Large original vintage advertising poster for Guinness by the notable British graphic designer, Abram Games (Abraham Gamse; 1914-1996). Great typographical design featuring the message "Guinness 5 million daily" with the 5 and G stylised in the centre to run off each other in red and, in the shape and colour of a glass of the drink, black and gold. Games has also used the same G text design in his signature. (Games' daughter has stated that the artwork he created for Guinness was among his personal favourite designs.) One of the world's most popular brands of beer drink, Guinness is an Irish dry stout founded by Arthur Guinness in Dublin in 1759.
