A very rare George Jones Majolica Kettle in the Japanese Style c.1875, This teapot, the only known example, is illustrated in ‘Majolica’ Nicholas Dawes, page 120 and is thought to be designed by the son of George Jones, ‘Horace’, who studied at the Gover Japanese Style c.1875, This teapot, the only known example, is illustrated in ‘Majolica’ Nicholas Dawes, page 120 and is thought to be designed by the son of George Jones, ‘Horace’, who studied at the Government School of Design.
