The book details the logistics of the boycott and the violence and threats committed against King, sometimes dozens of threats per day. Dr. King also discusses his reading of Gandhi and his own worldview, including, of course, the nonviolent philosophy. This has been signed on the main title page in black ink by Martin Luther King Jr.
