Description
Three items Jasperware, some possibly Wedgwood, white on blue ground with classical floral decoration, including cheese dome with underplate, impressed mark "K" on base, cachepot with impressed mark "Q" on base (6-5/8" H) and small urn, impressed mark Adams and Bromley on base (6" H). Underplate - 12-1/2" diameter, dome - 7" H plus 1-3/4" H rope knot finial x 8-3/4" diameter. All English, late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: From the collection of Edward S. Thompson, formerly of Columbus, Ohio and Maryville, TN, deceased 1979, by descent to present owner. (Additional high-resolution photos are available at www.caseantiques.com)
Condition
All in good condition. Stains on underplate and inside cachepot. Old one-half inch chip under glaze on edge of cheese dome.
