1. Letter from Rabbi Meir Ashkenazy, local rabbi of Shenghai at the Far East Yeshiva in Shenghai, dated Sivan 5701 – 1940 to Rabbi Shmuel Aaron Shedratsky. In it he pleads to obtain exit permits from the blood land and ships. On official Yeshiva letterhead paper, in good condition, with filing holes.
2. Letter from Rabbi Pinchas Tordos Althuis, known as Pinye (1858-1963) to Rabbi Shmuel Shadrovitsky from 8 Tishrei 5714 – 1953. Interesting letter stating Chabad’s ideology. Rabbi Pinchas was a Hasid and a prominent member of Chabad in the Holyland, among the founders of Kfar Chabad.
