Description
First half 19th century, French, signed to face ''Schuller a Paris'', the movement apparently unmarked, ornamented with a gilt-bronze standing figure of Apollo playing a lyre, the rectangular case adorned with applied grotesque masks, musical instruments, torches and putti, centering the white enamel dial with black roman numeral hour markers, housed within a floral-molded surround, raised overall on a rectangular base with a figural frieze depicting Hermes and Apollo before Zeus at Olympus, atop a palmette-molded rectangular plinth, 24.75'' H x 16'' W x 6.25'' D, est: $1500/2500

Condition
Overall good condition, with general minor wear and darkening to bronze commensurate with age. Cracks and nicks to enameled dial. Lacking lyre. Pendulum and feet deficient.
