Mid-19th century, each with blue underglaze intertwined ''L''s centering ''A'' over ''M'', each of bleu celeste glazed porcelain with gilt painted highlights throughout, surmounted overall by a gilt-bronze leaf-and-berry finial atop a foliate-molded lid, the gadrooned shoulders with applied white and red ''jewels'' and female portrait masks, above an oviform body decorated with hand-painted oval reserves depicting winged putti, floral and fruit bouquets and figures in bucolic settings, raised on a fasces-molded waisted base widening to a stepped circular palmette-molded foot, 2 pieces, each: 20.75'' H x 7.75'' W x 7.75'' D, est: $1500/2500

Condition
One foot 6.25'' Dia.; the other 5.75'' Dia. Each in overall good condition, with general minor wear and scattered surface scratches commensurate with age. Each with scattered scratches and nicks to gilt paint, primarily to lids and foot. Lacking scattered red ''jewels'' to shoulders. Each with shallow chips to underside edge of lid; the first .5'' x .25'', the second with one .25'' x .25'' and one .125'' x .125''. One with scattered fleabites, a .125''-wide and a .25''-wide shallow chip to underside edge of foot; the other with a .5'' x .25'' chip to underside of foot. Each with surface residue to foot.
