Description
BG287 was the final poster in the original numbered series, the final David Singer-designed Fillmore poster and the final concert at the Fillmore West. It was also the first time 17 bands had been listed on a poster and the first time a poster was commissioned by someone other than Bill Graham himself. BG287 was commissioned as a gift to Graham and was to be presented to him after the event. BG287 has become famous for its style and as a marker in the history of San Francisco rock music.
