The painting has been lined onto masonite to stabilize the canvas. Blacklight reveals a few minor areas of retouch in the LC sky area, but overall, on close examination the painting retains nearly all of it's brush strokes and impasto. Painting initially came in from previous owner with extensive, darkly yellowed varnish. It received a light overall cleaning and revarnish prior to being offered for sale in this auction.
