A GROUP OF THREE CHINESE 'DRAGON' PANELS
Qing Dynasty, 19th Century
Each panel of rectangular form and set within a thick outer frame, individually carved in relief to depict a four-claw dragon staring down at a central flaming pearl, as two further dragons approach from each side, all surrounded by a dense stylized scrolling cloud design.
*Note: Reputedly purchased from The Witte Museum, San Antonio, circa mid-20th century
