probably English, 19th century, each serpentine front with satinwood and ebony inlays, hinged tops with silver-plated ring pull and oval medallion, fitted interior for cutlery, silver-plated shield-form escutcheon, ogee bracket feet, 17-1/4 9-1/2 x 13-1/2 in.. Condition: both with old splits to base and old veneer losses, otherwise good condition with signs of wear and use.
