The costume consists of a black jacket and a red skirt, both are couched in heavy embroidery with silver and colored threads
Decorated with four petalled flowers, phoenix’s and peonys – symbolism of feminine beauty – as well as with dragons between clouds
Presumably made for an overseas occasion
Dimensions of the jacket: total length 68 cm; width of back (arm to arm) 132 cm
Length of the skirt: 99 cm
