++ Press photo with backstamp of “Fine Art Photography/ by Nathan Rabin…” The image is from an earlier photo by Man Ray (signature in image at lower right), and shows 2 men at a table covered with at balls, cubes, and other objects. ++ Press photo with “Duchamp w/ shaving lather on his face (for Monte Carlo Shave, 1924)/ Photo: Man Ray/ ear: Teenny Duchamp.” Within a rubber stamp is a date in another hand, indicating when the press photo was from: “9/24/73.” ++ Similar press photo with notation on verso “Paris 1959/ Working on layout of Label’s Marcel Duchamp.” Image shows Duchamp at a table putting title labels on papers. Similar rubber stamp with “9/24/73” date. ++ Press photo with pencil notation on verso: “Duchamp photographed through the window of his piece, La Bazarre a’ Austerlitz, photo by Man Ray for Prose 1966.” ++ Press photo from an earlier chest-length photograph of Duchamp. Press photos’ versos have faint staining and foxing. 1 verso has tape to 2 of its edges.
